A Beginner’s Guide to the Proper Vaping Technique

Recreational smoking is an activity that many of us engage in daily. For those looking for alternatives that are healthier for the body, you may want to give vaping a shot. Vaping is quite similar to smoking any tobacco-based cigar or cigarette. The inhaling and exhaling parts remain the same. However, you must also learn new steps, such as knowing how to use your vape device.

If you want to try vaping for the first time, there are several beginner tips for getting started. Follow this beginner’s guide to master the proper vaping technique.

What is vaping?

Vaping is an alternative form of smoking that uses an electronic device. In some cases, this may be known as an e-cigarette. The instrument is a vaping device for other, more commonly-used sources.

Vaping devices use what is known as e-liquid, which may or may not contain nicotine. The e-liquid is distributed uniquely throughout the device, whatever the case may be. Once it is time to use it, the flame turns it into vapour, which can then be inhaled and exhaled. It shares traits with traditional forms of smoking, but it is unique!

An e-cigarette is not a simple instrument to grasp, especially at the beginning of its use. However, once you familiarize yourself with its components, you can easily use the device. Your vaping device comprises a few key areas, such as the mouthpiece. This is where you will be inhaling the vapour once it is in use.

The coil is probably the most important part of the device, as it vaporizes the e-liquid into actual vapour. Power sources are also crucial to know about, as this part will determine how the device will fare in the short and long term. Every vaping device has its structure, but knowing the components is half the battle.

Vaping Kit

Beginners who are just venturing off into the vaping world may be best suited in using a starter kit. As the name implies, this kit includes all the necessary parts you need to start vaping. Plus, it comes with additional accessories, such as having an extra source of e-liquid. Follow the instructions closely, and you will be good to go.

Disposable Vape

In some cases, you may not want to keep your vaping device as it stands currently. That is where the magic of a disposable vape comes in. As the name implies, it is a type of vaping instrument that comes with throw-away units once they are not being used anymore.

These units do not need to be refilled after use, which can be quite handy when preserving e-liquid. They are quickly becoming popular each day; try them out if you want a simpler option.

How to Inhale

When starting the device, make sure everything is in order and place. Double-check the power source, and ensure all components are secure where they are fitted. Then, you will want to turn the device on to begin the inhalation process. There are a few ways to do this as well.

First, there is the mouth-to-lung technique, which is fairly simple to do in practice. Inhale from the device’s mouthpiece like you would sip from a straw inside a drink. Then, hold the vapour in your mouth for a few seconds before exhaling accordingly. Be careful not to swallow, as this will ruin the experience.

Direct Lung Technique

Eventually, you will become much more accustomed to using your vaping device. If the previous technique is no longer doing it for you, it may be time to try out other methods. The direct lung method is one such technique that can make the experience so much better.

To kickstart this process, you need to ensure that your vaping instrument is larger, with a low resistance coil. Quickly draw the vapour directly to the lungs when inhaling. Then, exhale immediately after that. The hit you take here will be much more potent if that is what you are aiming for.

How to Exhale

Depending on how advanced you are in vaping, your exhaling technique may differ from others. At the same time, you should ensure that you concentrate on how you exhale your vapour.

Always be sure to hold the vapour in your mouth for a few seconds before letting it flow out!
