A resident contacted police concerned about a couple who, according to the caller, were apparently living out of a U-Haul truck. The caller reported recognizing the couple because they lived in the area, though he was worried because the truck had been parked in front of his house for two days—he was afraid to leave his house unattended with them outside. What the resident neglected to realize, however, was that the couple was doing what most people do what rental trucks—moving out.

There’s nothing like a pair of suspicious men to start flooding the call centers at local police stations. And that was the case when a few residents became concerned over two men they described as “Middle Easterners wearing turbans.” According to reports, the men were seen pouring an unknown substance off a bridge and into the water below. Poison? That’s what at least one caller thought as he trailed them in their Cadillac Escalade. The man informed police of his concern, but also made sure to tell the cops not to be too worried because a number of high school students were already in the area testing the water for an unrelated school project, acting as the caller’s makeshift Crime Scene Unit.
