I have two memories of trading stamps: the first is that they were green, not blue. The second is that the Brady Bunch bought a color TV with them (I think they should have gone for the rowboat instead).

ANSWER: Who knew you could use trading stamps to get your car smogged? There actually may be lots more Blue Chip Stamps signs (like this one, on Seventh Street and Termino) around Long Beach, but if you really want to learn something about the company, look ‘em up on Wikipedia. There’s a whole novel there about antitrust suits, Warren Buffett, and See’s Candy.
