BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB “BABY 81” RED INK
“Pretty groovealicious. If you’ve never heard BRMC, it’s drone-y rock and roll. Sort of garage-y, but a little slicker than your average grunge band so it’s still fun and loud. This album is more interesting—more catchy—but not glossy and commercial. Came in last week and we have an online station we throw new stuff on, so it’s been up there. I saw them play once and their live show is similar to the sound. It’s pretty bare bones. Just four dudes and guitars. If you like noisy rock and roll along the lines of the Strokes or Wolfmother (or anything in between those two), you’ll be into this album.” // MARK
