VANILLA FUDGE “VANILLA FUDGE” ATCO (1967)
“This is Vanilla Fudge’s first album from the late ’60s. It’s kinda psychedelic, but that’s why I like it. They have a [TKTK] drummer on there who makes it even better when they do their version of ‘Ticket to Ride’ by the Beatles. It’s so trippy because they totally psychedelic it out. I just love it. They also have an ‘Eleanor Rigby’ cover. Come to think of it, this whole album is covers. There’s a Sonny and Cher one, too. I’ve had this album on my wall for a while now. It’s pretty rare, but I have it priced reasonably so come and get it!” // DYZZY DIEHM
