Michael Winterbottom’s acclaimed 2006 docudrama about the “Tipton Three,” a trio of young British men who were detained for three years at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base without charge or representation. The torture depicted in the film is actually slightly less awful than what the real Tipton Three suffered, because the actors reportedly couldn’t endure being in such uncomfortable positions for hours on end. There will be snacks available . . . not that you’ll have much of an appetite.
