It was barely breaking into the afternoon when a woman returned home to find that her apartment had been ransacked. The woman explained to police that she was expecting a handyman and had left a note outside to let him know that the door was unlocked. But she didn’t think that he was the culprit. The woman didn’t know who it could have been, but informed police that the apparently literate person got away with a valuable collection—$2,000 in quarters.

A case of highway rage turned violent when a couple of drivers moved beyond simple arguments and entered into the firearms phase. Nobody is quite sure what triggered the initial incident, but tensions escalated between the two men when one pulled out a gun and shot a “projectile” at the other. Although the gunner missed, he was quick to get away, already long gone by the time police arrived. It didn’t take long for cops to find the man, however, as they later discovered him along with his plastic airsoft pistol. He was arrested and booked on the felony of “throwing a missile with intent to do serious bodily harm.”
