A woman was walking eastbound on Massinger Street when a black truck pulled up beside her and fired a paintball gun almost point blank, hitting her in the chest, leg and forearm. Police arrived to find blood running down the woman’s right arm and paint splattered on her clothes. The victim reported that the truck turned onto Pioneer Boulevard, where, five minutes later, a second pedestrian was shot—this time in the head. The second victim reported hearing a man’s laughter and a burst of gunfire before feeling a “piercing sensation” on the side of his head.

A man returned from a home-improvement trip to find his car door unlocked and open. The suspicious shopper didn’t see any signs of forced entry—no broken glass or dents—but still uneasy, the man continued to look through his car when he noticed a few items missing from the center console. Turns out the apparent thief had a taste for the finer things in life, sparing the car and instead swiping a pair of sunglasses, some cds and a bottle of Hugo Boss cologne.
