It wasn’t quite road rage, but a nighttime dispute turned vehicular when a car owner tried to drive off with another man’s arm stuck half-inside the car by a semi-closed window. It’s uncertain as to why the hanger-on had his arm in the car in the first place, but things turned for the worse when he couldn’t wrest it free as the driver started to speed away. Police arrived to find the two men still arguing and the man’s arm still inside the car. The cops helped the subject wriggle free, then “counseled” the car owner to keep all limbs inside the vehicle at all times.

SUN | FEB 23 10:58PM A long night only got longer for some residents when they woke to a man screaming and yelling in the middle of the street. A caller assumed the man was drunk, but couldn’t be sure—all the caller knew was the man was screaming out for a taxi. Apparently annoyed by the man’s request, someone must have done him a favor—soon, a cab showed up and whisked him back to Signal Hill.
