A resident didn’t like what he saw when he woke up to a small cluster of anti-war protesters near his apartment building. Maybe he’s part of that one-quarter of the population still in favor of the war, but the resident claimed to have legitimate concerns when he called and reported the protesters for blocking traffic. Officers arrived on the scene and didn’t seem to find any problems—but chose to “counsel” the protesters, anyway.

It was a matter-of-fact break-in: two teens smashed a storefront, swiped a few items, and were caught. But eyewitnesses claim that there was much more to it. They report that the pair of juveniles, seen skateboarding around the area beforehand, smashed a window with their skateboards, grabbed a few boards from inside the store, and then proceeded to ride those around the scene of the crime. They did, however, try to cover their tracks when they spotted a homeless man across the street and yelled out: “Hey! Did you see what those guys did to that window?!” It didn’t work, of course: cops caught the duo skateboarding no more than 50 feet from the scene.
