Meth Life
EL DORADO DR | LONG BEACH
SUN | NOV 4 1:22PM
Another elderly person scammed as two dumpy middle-aged men approached an older woman’s house claiming to have her son’s car—except, apparently, the woman couldn’t see the vehicle. Suspicious, she let the two men into her place while she called her son to verify things. When she couldn’t reach him she asked the men to leave, and it was then that the woman noticed a few items missing—namely, her wallet. What’s worse is that her son’s car was, of course, never missing, or stolen, or even moved—she was just too forgiving.
MAIN ST | SEAL BEACH
SUN | NOV 4 9:25PM
Barflies were busy throwing back beers when a couple of suspicious-looking characters stumbled through the doors. The pair seemed fit for each other: a couple of guys in their 40s, each with a receding hairline and a big mouth. Once the two got liquor in their systems, they became unbearable, bragging to nearby patrons that they had a cache of weapons in their car and that they were going up to LA to kill people and buy some meth. Not really that surprising, though: one of them was fresh out of jail that same day.
