It’s easy to be cynical about David Lynch’s coffee: the house roast plus the tin it comes in runs you $16.27 before shipping. For all we know Lynch could be repackaging Foldger’s assroast into that gorgeous black little tin; the tin that features his stark profile with the slogan “It’s all in the beans . . . And I’m just full of beans.” It’s also easy to be cynical about Lynch’s movies, though (silencio!), so if you buy into one you’re likely to buy the other. While he could have made the coffee a lot more fan-friendly (Castigliane Bros. Espresso Roast, Great Northern Hotel Signature House Blend, etc.) he went above and beyond the call of duty by instead making a fine cup of coffee—a damn fine cup of coffee.
