Metro proposes its line 60 that serves Long Beach Blvd. only go as far as Artesia Blvd. during owl hours (midnight to 4 a.m.). This means there will be no connection between owl bus service in L.A. County and Orange County, as OCTA line 60 runs overnight to the Long Beach Transit Mall and now connects with the Metro 60 late night.
The proposal will be voted on March 13th at the 2 p.m. meeting of the Gateway Cities Service Sector Council , Downey City Hall, 11111 Brookshire Ave., Downey, CA 90241. Is anyone else concerned about this disconnect of a transit lifeline between Counties in the late night/early morning?
The agenda for the meeting should be posted shortly on the metro website

This will force more cars onto the road.
