Update: The guilty pleas are in

OC Weekly’s Scott Moxley has updated his story on Jeffrey Ray Nielsen, Orange County conservative activist, associate of Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, and now, convicted child molester.

In open court, a somber Nielsen, who has extensive personal ties to Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and Orange County Republican Party boss Scott Baugh, gave Superior Court Judge David Thompson signed guilty pleas acknowledging two felonies: committing lewd acts on a 12-year-old Virginia boy and 14-year-old Orange County boy.

Nielsen received a three-year sentence, as predicted.

Also, it should be noted that, according to Moxley, Congressman Rohrabacher “nowadays claims amnesia about his ties to Nielsen”. This unfortunate memory loss seems to have occurred at the same time Moxley began his investigation. We wish the congressman the best of luck in finding a cure for his highly-specific memory loss.
