SAVE THE QUEEN WILL GET ITS CHANCE TO

Save The Queen, the development consortium that won the right to purchase the bankrupt lease to operate the Queen Mary and 64 acres of surrounding land at an Aug. 14 auction, went almost to the limit of a court imposed deadline to come through with the $43 million it bid, but finally closed escrow at the end of the business day Tuesday.

A press conference to officially announce the sale is scheduled for Wednesday aboard the Queen Mary–which may actually have something to celebrate in this, the 40th anniversary of its arrival in Long Beach in 1967.

Here’s a couple of questions Mike. What is Save the Queen’s response to the complaint that has been filed against the company in State Court? Isn’t it a fact Jeff Klein signed a contract with Bandero and that the master plan being used by Save the Queen for the property is the one that was produced for Bandero?
