MOVE AHEAD ONE SPACE AT CITY HALL
Those of you who’ve been waiting eagerly to see what would become of Assistant City Manager Christine Shippey’s job–now that she’s on her way to San Jose–can stop waiting.
Assuming the City Council approves, Shippey will be replaced by current Director of Planning and Building Suzanne Frick. Frick, in turn, will be replaced by current Redevelopment Bureau Manager Craig Frick.
Elsewhere in City Hall, Acting Community Development Director Michael Conway becomes the new Director of Public Works. Conway is then replaced by Neighborhood Services Bureau Manager Dennis Thys–officially inheriting City Manager Pat West’s old job.
And still elsewhere, recently-departed Finance Director Michael Killebrew–now of Dana Point–will be replaced by Acting Finance Director Lori Ann Farrell.
All changes come from City Manager Pat West–and the official city press release is here.
Please adjust your Blackberry accordingly.
