The East Village Association–the group which helps run the East Village Arts District–will hold its monthly meeting at 7 tonight, at the Neighborhood Resource Center, 425 Atlantic Ave.

One of the items under discussion, from what we understand, is the idea of closing First Street to vehicle traffic between Elm and Linden avenues–making it a pedestrian zone.

So, if you live or work in the East Village–or if you’re just a fan of driving your car and/or truck on that portion of First Street, you might want to show up.
