“Y-E-E-E-S, THANKS TO THE MEN–AND WOMEN–WHO DESIGN!”
So, our friends over at Jalopy Journal almost always have something interesting to report–and presently, it’s the re-emergence of a three-part documentary series on design from the late 1950s.
Real super bitchen jet-age stuff; I’m linking to the third part, which is automotive-related–but which ties back in the other two parts.
Also, the person who posted this has what I’m hoping is an intentionally hilarious slide show video accompanying Janis Martin’s “Bang Bang.” (Remember her–the “female Elvis”?) Great song, though for some of the wrong reasons now–kinda like Jimmy Lloyd’s “I Got a Rocket in My Pocket.”
That’s all for now.
