PRESIDENTIAL POLITICS: THE LAST GASP

Chances are this won’t be over by the time tomorrow becomes far less super, but the candidates are spreading themselves thin today to try to canvas every last corner of the electorate. Here’s a quick rundown:

According to polls, Obama has met Clinton in national polls and is polling ahead or even with Clinton in Missouri, New Jersey and California. His bumper stickers are apparently now outselling Clinton’s, too. Meanwhile, CNN reports that Clinton choked up on the campaign trail again, this time over some kind words lobbed her way about her dedication to children.

On the Republican side, Romney has gained ground here in California but McCain is still holding strong nationally. And as the P-T reported, Romney will be appearing at the Long Beach Airport tonight at 7:05pm. This’ll be his second stop here within the week.

You can find your polling place here.
