The blogs have it today: OiNK, a popular file sharing site, has been shut down. Most of the media world is telling the same story: music industry victorious in shuttering OiNK’s “huge” and “lucrative” business, 24-year-old creator in custody, all is right in the world. Of course, OiNK was free and invitation-only, but so it goes.

This also comes on the heels of a ruling earlier this month in which a Minnesota court ordered a woman to pay the RIAA $222,000 for the 24 songs she illegally downloaded. That’s $9,250 per song.
