CHECK OUT THESE RECORDS I GOT V. 1 N. 3
I’ve been hauling junk in like it pays by the ounce but I’ll leave the lost month lost and update you on the last 24 hours plus whatever new stuff I can see from the stack of slippery newspapers on which I currently sit. Glistening for now is…
Hawkwind Space Ritual 2XLP
From Tape & Record room. Nice copy and designer Barney Bubbles will have a retrospective out this fall! Also great album: lo-budget sci-fi sounds and hellish repetitive bass by Lemmy, plus extremely serious spoken interludes about space crap. Extremely important to own for yourself. Don’t get the CD because the LP folds out into a journey through your own mind.
Nick Gilder City Nights LP
Canadian T. Rex kinda guy who sang like a girl. Pretty comparable to his previous LP. Good to fake people out who wanna know what the mystery castrato glam track is. A quarter!
Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland 2XLP
Naked cover one.
The Seeds Future LP
I hate this record. I’ll trade for something else unless I decide to like it later. Proves everything bad cops and councilmen said about psychedelia.
The Kinks Something Else LP
Cool record, makes your life less crappy if you can look at it every so often.
Zombies Odessey and Oracle LP (reissue)
Cheap so I got it just to play ‘This Will Be Our Year’ during times of need.
Pretty Things self-titled LP (’67 reissue)
Great record. Pretty Things surly and loud. Worth all monies.
John Kay and the Sparrow LP + John Kay My Sportin’ Life LP
Steppenwolf singer before and after he was famous. I am a big fan of Mars Bonfire (wrote “Born To Be Wild,” elevated Kim Fowley to heaven) and he’s on the Sparrow record, which so far is pretty good. Sportin’ Life is stoner country rock like everybody wanted to try making for a while.
That’s it but I will do these whenever I got records for you to check out, or if you got some records you got that you would like the world to check out via our website, which the world often looks at to alleviate insecurity and confusion.

i believe everything you say. the hawkwind, esp. Talking on rock records is always cool. ask dave w. to recite the moody blues’ nights in white satin chat (cold-hearted orb that rules the night…) in cockney style for you while you sip on an old-fashioned…
