An interview with Eighth District City Councilwoman Rae Gabelich wraps up the Press-Telegram’s three-part, three-week series of Q&As with the trio of Long Beach City Council members who are running for re-election without opposition. The Qs are the same, the As are a bit more substantial than usual, but the format again suffers from an absence of follow-up Qs when the As get too formulaic. Nonetheless, it’s better than nothing — which is how much choice voters are getting in the Second, Fourth and Eighth districts — and we thank P-T editorial board member John Canalis for trying.
