Ron Paul wins the whorehouse primary

Libertarian turned Republican Ron Paul has emerged as the presidential choice of the pimp class. Nevada brothel owner, and minor cable TV celebrity, Dennis Hof has thrown his support behind Paul– raising money for the candidate and offering special discounts for Paul supporters. And it’s not because Dr. Paul, as his supporters insist you call him, is the only gynecologist in the race (though a hard-working gynecologist and a ready supply of antibiotics are presumably important in Hof’s line of work).

No, Hof, who had no idea Paul existed until he recently heard the Texas congressman speak, has realized that Paul is everything a man who makes his living from women selling à la carte-style orifice access could want in a president. Impressed by Paul’s devotion to the free market, Hof is taking donations for Paul’s campaign from his customers, and is offering a special 2-for-1 discount to the pro-Paul. Visitors to Hof’s Moonlight Bunny Ranch who say “I’m pimping for Paul”, get two women for the price of one. “Or”, as the San Francisco Chronicle puts it, “double whatever they choose to partake of there.”

Whether the twofers are “in kind contributions” that must be reported to the Federal Election Commission, I’ll leave for better qualified (and properly condomed) students of election law to decide.

    Looks like the MSM marching orders involve promoting Huckabee endlessly. Ron Paul had 2-3 questions and limited time. He still crushed them all (how come every article forgets to include his comeback to McCain which mentioned that Ron Paul gets more Military Contributions than any other candidate?). Mitt is dead after desecrating the Confederate flag. Many Southerners died under that flag. Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that "there's not a dime's worth of difference between" Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like "America Deceived' from Amazon, warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.
    Support Dr. Ron Paul and save this great nation.

    FYI,

    The district left out that Hof was brought to Paul's Reno rally by a member of the media and the campaign's statements regarding the "endorsement". Shameful reporting to spin voters away from Dr. Paul's message of Peace, Freedom and Prosperity.

    I can’t imagine why people think Ron Paul’s campaign attracts conspiracy-minded nutjobs.

    As for the Paul spokesman’s statement-- oh please. The spokesman coughs up some pro forma pro-Jesus fluff, which gives him an opportunity to remind Republican voters Dr. Paul is “a devout Christian”, but the campaign isn’t turning down the whorehouse money-- and that’s the only thing that would give those words any real meaning. (As devout Christians know, “faith, if it hath not works, is dead” (James 2:24))

    I can’t imagine why people think Ron Paul’s campaign attracts the politically naïve.

    Learn from Cleaner 44, people-- he comes off as rational and not ignorant of how politics works (caveat: I haven’t seen his website yet).

    Yeah, I agree with you 100% there. I have faith that those prostitutes are going to work up a lot of fiat FRNs for Ron!

    Seriously though, in order to have faith you have to be free. Without freedom, you cannot choose. Without choice, you cannot have works. Without works, you cannot have faith.

    Paul is for the freedom of people to choose. I imagine this is why Hof likes Ron. Its also why I like Ron. You have to allow people to do bad things, provided they don't hurt anyone else in the process, so the good things are all that much better. If society outlawed all vice, we would look much like Saudi Arabia.

    So, get ready to wear a burka and get lashes for calling a teddy bear the wrong name! Don't think that we are much different from our alleged enemies. Your comments might just prove you are one of them, just a different flavor.

    Libro Ranger is absolutly right. Overturning habeous corpus, getting the patriot act and now this home grown terrorist act is turning America into a very strict mindset. The government has cameras everywhere, they can invade your privacy, they can throw you in gitmo and hey, if you ask a politition an unpopular question, you can end up on youtube saying"don't taze be bro". You can roll your eyes at the middle east for their ways, but America seems to be adopting those ways. Freedom is worthwhile, and allows adults to be adults, not children (chattle) of rulers.

    Beyond the innate news value, it’s immaterial to me whether Paul raises money in brothels or convents, as long as it’s done in accordance with campaign finance laws. The James quote is there solely because of the statement from Paul’s spokesman. If the campaign had just invoked libertarian principles and pocketed the money that wouldn’t have raised an eyebrow, but to wheel out Paul’s devout Christianity in the circumstances was ludicrous.

    But to suggest that the U.S., even given all the assaults on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, is in any plausible danger of devolving into any sort of theocratic state with religious-based dress codes and the threat of physical punishment for those who offend the state-sanctioned faith is, at best, utter nonsense. The only place any American citizen is in danger of being whipped for blasphemy by his/her government is in the delusions of a paranoid mind.

    And can you name a single presidential candidate who is campaigning. explicitly or implicitly, on “outlaw[ing] all vice”? Of course not. Not even the televangelist who ran in ‘88, Pat Robertson, had that in his platform.

    The problem PAUL BRENNAN it is the current establishment that is irrational. Also, it is through their ACTIONS PAUL BRENNAN not their rhetoric! Where is my social security PAUL BRENNAN? Well through THEIR ACTIONS they have spent it! Where is my border security PAUL BRENNAN? Well through THEIR ACTIONS they have chosen not to enforce the law. In fact, I think any sane rational person would have to state that we have become a country where the government arbitrarily enforces the law. This is not a rational way to run a country PAUL BRENNAN!

    You PAUL BRENNAN are stereotyping me and everyone else in this movement and you clearly don't get what fuels it. Its not a bunch of nut jobs as you would like to con everyone into believing. Sure, there are a lot of types that are pissed off about Waco and Ruby Ridge. Those people are scared of the government to begin with so any rational person can see why they'd like to support someone like Ron. It really is about freedom. If you are too irrational to get it PAUL BRENNAN, thats your problem not ours.

    Dennis Hof is a sick man who has been harboring a wanted sex offender in Carson City. He is a pedophile and worse. He owns a brothel legally and gets away with a lot. The counties rely on his taxes he pays to pay for their police and county. There is so much corruption it is hopeless. Look up the article in Nevada appeal about the wanted Oregon fugitive Philip Yoder. Dennis Hof had him in hiding for two years. Read the comments on the story. Very disturbing!
