IT’S THE MOST MORONIC TIME OF THE YEAR

‘Tis the season when people start arguing about exactly which season ’tis, and the inane haggling has already begun over what to call the tall, decorative pine tree that will do its damndest to signify good cheer this year at Shoreline Village. Bill Pearl has the story at LBreport.com

The tree–some call it Christmas, others call it Holiday–was scheduled to be lit Friday night in a merry little ceremony, but the rain delayed the occasion until Dec. 7. Great news for anybody who really loves what this time of year is more and more about. Let’s hope that holly is all that gets decked.
