Ralph, it's off of Atlantic just north of the corner of Atlantic and Del Amo. You have to turn from Atlantic into a shopping center (at 52nd or so I think) and follow the street behind the little plaza to get there.

I Google-mapped 750 Via Carmelitos, and Google says it cannot locate such an address. Google and I both need a little assistance here, please. Ralph L. Seifer, Long Beach

The Factory, a restaurant in Bixby Knolls opening in October, is working very closely with Jimmy Ng in growing most all of the produce needed for their menu. The Factory's concept was to source produce from local producers, but we never dreamed we would find a 'farm' only a mile from the restaurant in North Long Beach of all places!!! Then when we found out what Jimmy was doing to help the unemployed and provide training and jobs in our community. Our heads spun with excitement and have been spinning ever since!!! Eating responsibility goes so way beyond the catch terms of organic, green and sustainable. Eating responsibility is found in the layers of soil that make a community grow and prosper together.
