TIM GROBATY: A LITTLE SQUIRRELLY

Press-Telegram columnist Tim Grobaty writes today about his intensifying showdown with a squirrel whose growing aggressiveness has been shaming him into submission. Give it a read and laugh with Tim. Or at him. Your call.

It is a cute story. It is also instructive.

    Speaking of squirrelly:
Check out the Long Beach Post's Ten Most Influential People.

While the Post is right on target with most; the inclusion of Becky Ames;Gary
De Long;Laura Richardson taints the selection of the truly outstanding comprising the balance of the list.

It is not unlike this years Nobel Prize honor being sullied by the inclusion of
Obama whose selection was decried by the LOS ANGELES TIMES--THE LOS
    ANGELES TIMES!!!!!!!!

The above view is based upon thirty one years of observing predecessors
    of the three referenced individuals.
  • HighHat
What would you expect from a worthless right wing rag like the LA Times, Larry?

And say what you want, even though Ames, DeLong and Richadson are despicable , it's hard not to include them all in a "most influential" list . . . .
  • Laurence B, Goodhue
One could hardly call the Los Angeles Times right wing after :
eight years of Bush Bashing:relentless championing of the fifth
columnist-the Clown Prince of Los Angeles, Mexican Jumping Bean
Villaraigosa and his fellow traveler; the predator protector Mahoney as the duo seek to annex Southern California to Mexico.

As for the LB Post list:if the list were of those who had the most
negative influence certainly those three would be at the top of the
list-but then of course Foster's name would have to be included.
  • Oh, come on...this was one of the best things Tim has written in recent history...it was HILARIOUS!
