A weekend shift netted more than just prescription refills for a pharmacy employee when he stumbled on a man stealing packs of tooth-whitening strips. According to the employee, the man wasn’t hard to catch—he was holding two plastic bags completely filled with the things. When the employee confronted him, the man simply dropped the bags and walked right out of the store. According to the employee, the man’s motives may have been more than just dental, as he was wearing the shirt of a nearby supermarket, perhaps looking to perform his own secret stocking.

Police picked up on a call from a Boeing security guard after the company was warned about a pair of suspicious men not far from the compound. The cops couldn’t quite decipher the call, though, as it broke up thanks to shoddy cell service. What the police could make out of the thing was that someone told the security guard that two men were drinking in the shadow of the Boeing building. When officers arrived, they found just that—two men parked outside of a drive-thru Starbucks nursing their morning pick-me-ups.
