LIBRARY OF CONGRESS PICTURES LONG BEACH

The Library of Congress brings us all a bit closer with the unveiling of their newest web-based tool–3,000 prints (out of the library’s collection of about 14 million photos) have been digitized and uploaded to Flickr. This digital collection runs through some of the library’s most popular photos and happens to house a number of gorgeous shots (including the lovely one above) from Douglas Aircraft here in Long Beach. Click over and take in all the amazing Americana you can.
