The Daily Briefing
BEAUTIFUL DAY (NOT A U2 REFERENCE)
Seriously, for those that didn’t venture outside yesterday, it was one of the most crisp, clear beautiful days I may have ever seen in Los Angeles. The kind of day that makes athiests weep for answers and people with cameras drive through the mountains for hours with their jaws dragging on the ground.
And the only reason this means anything for anyone south of Wilshire is because from my perch among the Hollywood Hills, I could actually see the Long Beach fucking skyline. It’s true. There was not an ounce of smog in the air yesterday when my shitty point and click camera kinda captured what mine eyes doth saw — home!

Another perk of my perch was watching the planes land at LAX like they were little toys not (iron flying machines). Notice the eerie 9-11 feel from the one coming in the upper right corner of that photo (too soon?).
