An update on our own private Manhattan Project

First, let’s give credit where it’s due: That you’re reading a District site at all now is a testament to the hard work of Anthony Simpson, who took us by the hand and made sure that we would have a presence on the internets from day one.

As we drove toward our April 11 launch date, we decided to put the development of thedistrictweekly.com in the back seat temporarily while we dealt with all the shit that goes into making a newspaper hit the street. Now it’s time to get the site going, and we want to let you know what we’re doing to make it happen.

We don’t have a target launch date for the full site yet, but we’ll let you know when we do.
