CRIMINY! GUIDE TO SUMMER
By Miles Clements

Long Beach is full of ancient stuff, and if you’re looking to sell some of yours a summertime garage sale is always good. But garage sales are also heavily regulated―they can only operate between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and require a permit. More importantly, if you violate any of the garage sale laws―and there are many―you’ll be hit with a $200 fine. Do it again and it’s $400. And if you’re desperate enough to do it a third time, you’ll get be charged with a misdemeanor.
