A couple drinks down in San Pedro and I couldn’t find what I was looking for: the city’s infamous robotic arm. I’d seen it before–a hulking thing perched on top a pole, trailing passersby with a searchlight–but I couldn’t find it last night. Shame.

No matter, though, the thing had been broken for some time, reportedly waiting outside the Centre Street Lofts for the work of German engineers.

But CurbedLA has the scoop on San Pedro’s forgotten robot: it’s working again! Thankfully, Mojo, as it’s known, is back in full swing, doing, well, nothing.
